It is now possible to fully custom your chao from the transporter machine with the new Menu CUSTOMIZATION
Change Medals, Merge Hat and Accessories to give a new unique looks to your chao!
If sega doesn't make a new chao garden, may aswell upgrade what we have!
You can also edit the difficulty if you're looking to spice things up!
This Mod contains a bunch of different contents and codes that overall makes your Chao Garden experience a lot better.
Chao World Extended
The main mod! Added main feature such as Items, Eyes Colors, Unused Toys, Dreamcast Mouth...Give you alot of codes to choose, Advanced, Hard, Easy, Bonus, and even Details to make your chao garden more alive!Chao World Extended also Rebalance the Fruits:

- A Better Black Market!
The vanilla black market was very limited and mostly caused issues because of so many hats and fruits mods...So the CWE Team decided to rework on the Black market and add Tabs!
You can browse easily and not worry about limitations!
- New Items:
Hyper fruits:These Fruits are rare and can be only found in the Black Marketwithout using the D-Pad code. They are powerful and can be used toupgrade a stat's grade as long as that grade is an S. As an example, if your Chao has a Swim grade of S, giving it the Hyper Swim Fruit will grant it a new and more powerful grade, The X Grade
Shiny Fruit: With a Special Brightfix mod made by Exant (included in CWE.dll), using the Shiny Fruit allows you to change any of your Bright Chao into a true Shiny Two-tone Chao!
Lens Box: Lens boxes allow you to customize your Chao's eyes with 5 different eye colors, any of the 3 alignment-specific eyes, and 3 special sets of eyes. A default Lens box exists in case you ever wish to reset your Chao's eyes back to their original appearance
Accesories: A new way to customize your chao, and can even equip multiple at a time! Currently available: Glasses, Aviators, Baseball Cap & Bow

A Strange Potion: This potion look dangerous but can also be helpful, careful what are you doing with it!
- New Menus in Transporter!
At long last the chao Transporter or Departure machine, whatever you want to call it..It's not longer useless! drop your chao in the machine and select Customization to change Hats, Medals, and Accessories (you can even combine them!)
OH and you can move Chao between Multisaves now! (not quite compatible with 16 chao code)
You can also rename your chao without going to the fortune teller!
- New Menu: Shortcut Menu
by pressing X and Y, this small menu (depend what you enabled in CWE) will display chao name or change the weathers for testing purpose
- New Grade: The X Grade
Unlike other grades, it is temporary, and only one stat at a time can be at a grade of X. The X-graded stat has a massively-boosted stat cap until the Chao reincarnates, after which the grade reverts to S. Note that since thestat cap is what is affected, it is wise to upgrade the S to an X before the respective stat is at Lvl 99
- New way to increase your grades
Tired of making your Chao reincarnate over and over to increase its grades? No worries — the Chao Doctor will help you boost your Chao's grades. This requires rings, and the stat must be at Lvl 99!Your Chao's grades can only be upgraded 3 times per life — from E to A — and the higher the grade, the more rings are required:
E > D = 10 000 rings
D > C = 20 000 rings
C > B = 30 000 rings
B > A = 40 000 rings
For upgrade just do the following input while looking at your chao stats table:
Y + DPad Up for Swim
Y + Dpad Down for Fly
Y + Dpad Right for Power
Y + Dpad Left for Run
Y + L and R for Stamina
- Parent DNA!
You can now see the Parents and GrandParents of the baby chao by pressing down while looking at your chao stats table!If your chao is born before using v9, this will show "No Data"
- Lifepan Display
it is now possible to See how long your chao can live with the new bar "Lifespan".The ability number display the grade of the lifespan, the bigger it is, the longer the chao will live

Chao have birthdays now (you can view when it comes in the health center), and they also throw parties now!

SADX Animals:
SADX Animals are obtained differently from SA2 animals. They are somehow interested in those GBA fruits around your gardens: if you buy GBA fruits from the Black Market and leave them in the garden, a SADX animal may appear!
NOTE: each GBA fruit gives a different kind of SADX animal
Bugs: This mod also add 3 new animals: ladybug, scorpion and the bee!
You can obtain them using the orange!
They can also give new animal parts!
- A Unique way to get Special Chao
Chao world extended also offer contents to get special chaoOmochao:Unlock the Wrench from challenge race (also work with Newer challenge race), then buy some omochao parts in the Black market, and let your chao build one!
Omochao will have the same color of the chao that build him

This is a completely new Challenge Race for your chao in the Chao Race! Each race has a prize and a special feature, lets see how far you can go with your most powerful chao!
This is made for players who want a harder Chao Race, the 1st race will start with the difficulty of the last race from the original Challenge Race. Of course, the difficulty will increase the further you go and some surprises will be waiting for you as progress.
Note: This mod will remove the Beginner Medal and the Original Challenge Medal from your chao. You can only see them in the Health Center.
ADVANCED CODES
Advanced Codes edit the system and unlock chao you cannot obtain through normal means.ATTENTION:
After you enable this, there's no way to go back except backing up your save files or using a chao editor...Think about what you're you doing before you enable one of them! Enable Monster Evolution:
When one of your chao's stats reach 2000 (even futher if 3000), you can help the chao increase it's 2nd Evolution even further then its suppose to through normal means. Please note that chao with the "normal" color will become TRANSPARENT when they start to go beyond!
Normal Chao can make Color Chao:
The Normal chao colors can make baby chao with it's own colors.
Medal Chao can make Jewel Chao
When your chao is wearing a jewel medal like topaz, he can make topaz chao! (Works 50% of the time.)
Hero medal: you can have gold chao
dark medal: you can have silver chao
Aqua or Sapphire medal: you can have Aqua jewel chao or sapphire jewel chao
Topaz Medal: you can have Topaz chao
Peridot or Emerald medal: you can have peridot jewel chao or emerald jewel chao
garnet or Ruby medal: you can have garnet jewel chao or ruby jewel chao
onyx or Amethyst medal: you can have onyx jewel chao or Amethyst jewel chao
Pearl medal: you can have pearl chao
Diamond Medal: give ANY Jewel Chao, even Texture Chao
Chaos Chao & Character Chao are like Normal Chao
With this code your chaos chao and character chao (tails, knuckles & amy) can have animal parts and mate with other chao while still being immortal!
Transform PC Shiny Jewek chao to GC
This code changes the appearance of any PC shiny jewel chao to GC so you can have transparent chao and invisible chao with shiny colorsed chao + jewel chaolike the GC version!
But remember, there's no undo if you save it after the code's effect
Mixing Colors

Eye Colors for NewBorn Chao
Lenses are not the only way to get Chao with custom eye colors! With this code on, your newborn Chao have a chance to be born with different eye colors! Note that this only applies to eye color: you cannot get alignment eyes or special eyes this way
Fruit Can Spoil
Fruits will now Spoil sometimes before they disappear, they have different color than the original, giving a spoil fruit to your chao not only decrease there stamina (can't level down though), but also decrease there magnitudeCreate New SHINY jewel Monotone
When this code is on, all newborn Chao that are Shiny Jewel Monotone will have a unique look that is basically a mix of Texture/Jewel Chao with Shiny color on it!
Newborn Chao Have Varying Shades of Color
If this code is on, buying multiple Chao of the same color from the Black Market can give you different results: for example, you may buy 2 pink eggs and each one hatches with a different shade of pink, making them unique!
HARD CODE
These CODES are dangerous! We recommend you DO NOT enable these codes if you don't want to risk having your chao die or just leave the game on casually. For those of you who raise chao seriously, this is a little challenge for you. Beware of your chao!Bully Chao (requires the code: more chao animation)
This code will allow chao attack OTHER chao if they are angry. If the chao gets hit by another chao, it will lose happiness, so pay attention! Luckily, this code will also make happy chao defending other chao, if an angry chao decides to attack, there is a chance that a another chao will stop it! ( You must have the more animation code for this code to work properly ).Hunger's Difficult
When your chao is hungry, it will start crying and lose happiness.However, it make Garden fruit give more Stamina than usual!
Enable SpinDash & Somersault
The title says it all, like SADX, you can use the SpinDash or Somersault. You can do cool tricks in the garden but be careful that you don't hit your chao by accident!More Sick Chao:
This code makes your chao sick when you're doing something wrong,. Notice that when a chao is sick, no matter what the happiness value is, it will be a gray cocoon when it's time has come (the cocoon of death).However, Your chao will only need 50exp instead of 100exp to level up when he's sick!
Chao Attention
If you don't pay attention to your chao or pet it often, it will start to lose happiness.Annoying Mean Chao
Chao with Mean Eyes will slower hate all characters, making them Annoying to deal with! Have some troublemaker!EASY CODES

Once again, the name says it all, chao can't hate you even if you abuse them, but that doesn't mean they will always love you necessarily, you will be just neutral unless you take good care of them.Auto Generate Stats

What do you mean you can't find Mirror? You want a separate save to care those chao?! Well i have great news!
all you have to do is hold X (U for keyboard) before you enter the Chao World. The game will create a new save (SONIC2B__BLK) and will load an alt chao skins (neutral and hero chao will become black, dark chao will become white).

This code is actually made for Chao Race Tournaments. It actually requires Chao Editor to use it. All you have to do is select jewel race, a random chao, and a race.When the race starts you will see the first 8 slots of your chao in the race.

Win Jewel Chao in Jewel Race
Another way to get jewel chao, a 100% chance this time!If you win a jewel race lvl 5 on Garnet for example, you will got a chao egg with a garnet jewel chao inside
if you already have a garnet chao in your save, or you have 24 chao, you will not get the egg, simple
if it pass 100exp =+1 level each race level up different stats, like Aquamarine will focus on Swim, Stamina increase in any Race, but slower than other stats it check the grade aswell, to give the number of point depending the chao grade, and since your chao level up from race, it will always give the maximum values just remember that it will only work inBeginner and Jewel Race Chao Gain Experience Point by doing Race!
Each second of the race the chaowill gain some exp points, when your chao finish the race, the number of exp points he gain will level up his stats
if it pass 200exp =+2 level
Topaz will focus on Fly,
Peridot focus on Run,
Garnet Focus on power,
and Onyx and Diamond focus All of course (however it will increase slower),
(soalways +30 from S grade if your chao level up from race)

No. Since v8, Chao World Extended is adding new chao feature that the editor can broke it, however, you can use this Editor: Krzys2's Chao Editor
When I launch the game I crash after SEGA and SONIC TEAM, what happen?
You most likely have a problem with SA2 Mod Loader.
Install Microsoft Visual C++ 2013 runtime 64x and 86x
and the problem should be solved.

Having a strange issue where this mod is altering some of my imported chao and will not let me edit them. I've used the save file converter to bring my GameCube chao data, which had no issues without mods installed. Krzys2's Chao Editor worked just fine as well. However, after installing Chao World Extended, and only Chao World Extended, some of my chao have been changed. Many Neutral/Normals have been changed to Dark, even a few Chaos chao as well. I can't find any pattern to this, but it's not random, each time it's the same changes. Using Krzys2's Chao Editor at this point still let me edit things like animal body parts and faces, but it would not let me change species. Any attempt at doing so will be automatically reverted. Even though Fusion's Chao Editor is outdated, I experimented with that as well, to the same effect. Pre-CWE, they can be fully edited, species and all. Post-CWE, and neither chao editor can do it. This is only happening to the altered chao, as the ones that were unaffected can still have their species and everything edited. Even re-importing the chao will still change them. I've experimented with all the settings, and all the bundled mods to no avail. Edit: I was able to get in touch with and they fixed my chao files personally. While nothing is confirmed yet, it seems the likely cause is that CWE is using flags thought to be unused but were actually related to the GBA. The 5 chao affected were either born in the GBA, had parents from the GBA, or mated with chao from the GBA. It's certainly worth being aware of if anyone else is planning to transfer GameCube saves with GBA-related chao.

for some reason since i tried updating everytime i try to select a character it literally will CRASH on the character select. i've verified that this ONLY happens with the mod enabled, and ever since it updated to 4.1.-- i was previously using 9.3 with no problems and now i severely regret updating because i really loved this mod and i'd hate to have to stop using it.
edit: so..... okay. i can exit and enter stages via the story just fine, and i can also enter the chao garden via the chao key. HOWEVER i still cannot do character select no matter what i do. any help is appreciated.
edit2: .......... ????the character select plus mod i think is causing the conflict which sucks because i love using that mod too. i'll see if redownloading it helps.
edit3: so good news! figured out i had to redownload character select plus as well-- there was probably some update that caused a conflict? on the other side though this does mean this comment is like. pointless kinda now. oops.if anyone else has the same problem as me-- check if it's the character select plus mod causing the crash.
also awesome mod!!! i consider this ESSENTIAL when playing sa2 on the pc! keep up the fantastic work.

I don't know why, but I keep importing the gold, silver and black Chao from SADX into my SA2 garden, and they're transparent for whatever reason. I have the PC to GC Shiny Jewels code off, so I don't know why they're transparent. Any way to fix this. URL to post:

Not sure if I should ask about this here but I can't find another place so... Basically I tried to make a fruit mod and SA2 says that the .dll I put in there is not a valid mod file. That's literally all the info it gives me. Anyone know what to do?
